Chryseobacterium cupriresistens strain:StR 01 Genome sequencing

This project analysed whole genome sequencing and 16sRNA sequencing for the First Report of Chryseobacterium indologenes isolated from environmental samples in the Philippines. This project is part of the One ARM research program that was proposed to cover the important interplay of human-animal-environmental settings with regards to AMR surveillance. This project will determine and characterize the AMR bacteria and resistance genes in food handlers and sources. Specifically, results will be reported as relative abundance of prevalent bacterial taxa, detection rate of AMR genes and bacteria, and resistance profiles of cultured bacteria. Moreso, data from this study will be materialized for spatial epidemiology as well as for the creation of a detection kit for AMR bacteria and genes.
