EEG record from subjects exposed to auditory stimuli with semantic content and fine timestamp

This dataset contains EEG recordings from 10 healthy subjects exposed to auditory stimuli consisting of Spanish vowels (/a/, /i/, /u/) and control stimuli (white noise and silence). The data was recorded using a Biosemi 64-channel EEG system at 2048 Hz, ensuring high temporal resolution. To achieve precise synchronization between stimulus onset and EEG recording, we employed a custom FPGA-based device, which marked the exact moment each stimulus was perceived by the subject.Each trial is annotated with class labels indicating the stimulus type and includes an attention control marker, assessing the subject’s focus on the task. Additionally, speaker identity information is provided for trials where speech stimuli were presented. This dataset facilitates research in speech perception, auditory event-related potentials (ERPs), single-trial EEG analysis, and brain-computer interfaces (BCIs).
