Mouse immortalized cell lines were created by lentivirus transduction of hTERT and SV40LgT (LgT) into parent primary mouse renal proximal tubule epithelial (moRPTEC) cells. RNA-seq profiling and whole genome sequencing (WGS) of parent moRPTEC cells and hTERT and LgT immortalized moRPTEC cell lines each bring unique capabilities to pharmacologic and chemical in vitro screening that can be translatable into mouse models of kidney disease and therapeutics.
