Summary This metadata record provides details of the data supporting the claims of the related article: “Systemic immune reaction in axillary lymph nodes adds to tumor infiltrating lymphocytes in triple-negative breast cancer prognostication”. Type of data: histopathological assessment of primary tumour and LNs Subject of data: Homo sapiens Sample size: 161 Population characteristics: patients with invasive breast carcinoma of no special type (IBC-NST) treated between 2005 and 2010 at Tianjin Medical University Cancer Hospital, China, consisting of HR-negative patients (HER2-positive or TNBC) with positive LNs and of histological grade 3 Data access All data are openly available together with this data record in the file ‘LymphNodeMorphologicalAssessment_Liu.txt’ (table in tab-separated value format). The table contains count data for the assessment of morphological features of cancer-free and involved lymph nodes of hormone-receptor negative breast cancers. In addition, it lists tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) scores, and detailed clinico-pathological data.
