Oil droplet size distribution entrained by random waves

The uploaded files contain the complete dataset from a series of laboratory experiments conducted to investigate the droplet size distribution under random breaking waves. In these experiments, three oil types, Troll B, Oseberg Blend, and Grane, were continuously released to form a surface slick. A random wave field was generated to replicate open-ocean conditions, using a JONSWAP spectrum combined with superimposed high-frequency sinusoidal waves representing swell. Each experiment repeated five times to account for experimental uncertaainties. NetCDF files contain the droplets information such as diameter and type (oil, bubble, bubbles covered with oil etc.). Three ADV files with the .dat extension correspond to three repeated measurements of single-point velocity. In addition, time series records from the wave gauges are included as .txt files.
