We report that miR3607 controls the embryonic cerebral cortex development by regulating neurogenesis, neuron migration and axon growth in a bCatenin signaling pathway dependent manner. Overall design: To dissect the effects of miR3607 overexpression on gene expression profiles in cortical progenitors, we in utero electroporated cortices of brain embryos (E14.5) with miR3607-GFP or scrambled-GFP constructs. 24h after electroporation (E15.5), GFP positive cells were FACS sorted and mRNA expression profiles were analysed by RNA sequencing (RNA-seq).
