De Novo Assembly of Transcriptome and Development of Novel EST-SSR Markers in Rhodomyrtus tomentosa

In despite of the wide distribution and clinical application, there is a deficiency of comprehensive SSR markers in Rhodomyrtus tomentosa. In this study, we employed an RNA-seq technology to characterize the transcriptome of R. tomentosa. Also, we firstly reported the distribution and validation of EST-SSRs in this plant.
