Brain 18F-FDG PET template, ROI atlas and brain mask from a brain-dedicated PET scanner (CareMIBrain)
收藏资源简介:
Description This dataset contains a brain ¹⁸F-FDG PET template and accompanying region-of-interest (ROI) atlas generated from images acquired on the CareMIBrain (Oncovision, Valencia, Spain), a brain-dedicated PET system with 1×1×1 mm isotropic voxel resolution. The template was constructed from 162 ¹⁸F-FDG PET scans of patients referred from the Neurology Department of Hospital Clínico San Carlos (Madrid, Spain), including cognitively normal subjects and patients with various neurodegenerative conditions. Images were preprocessed in Pmod 4.1 and the template was built using the ANTs (Advanced Normalization Tools) buildtemplateparallel.sh script, which applies iterative symmetric diffeomorphic normalization (SyN) to generate an unbiased population average. Files included Template_CMB_HCSC.nii — ¹⁸F-FDG PET brain template. Matrix size: 268×268×152 voxels. Voxel size: 1 mm³. Intensity values represent SUV-normalized averaged uptake across the study population. CMB_HCSC.nii — Discrete label image in template space containing 66 brain regions adapted from the AAL (Automated Anatomical Labeling) parcellation via inverse spatial transformation and manual refinement. Integer values correspond to anatomical regions as listed in the accompanying label table. CMB_mask.nii — Binary brain mask in template space (1 = intra-parenchymal, 0 = extra-cerebral). Intended for use during spatial normalization and quantification to restrict analyses to brain tissue. HC_CMB_template.nii — ¹⁸F-FDG PET brain template using only healthy subjects (no nueurodegenerative diagnosis; 47 subjects). Matrix size: 268×268×152 voxels. Voxel size: 1 mm³. Intensity values represent SUV-normalized averaged uptake across the study population. Intended use This template is intended for spatial normalization and voxel-based quantification of ¹⁸F-FDG PET brain images acquired on high-resolution dedicated brain PET systems with similar voxel characteristics. It is not intended as a normative reference for direct statistical comparison against a healthy control database. Software compatibility All files are provided in compressed NIfTI format (.nii.gz), compatible with SPM12, FSL, ANTs, and Pmod. Associated publication Nespral et al.
