Raw field, parasitological, and multi-scale hydroclimatic dataset for the Pomphorhynchus tereticollis – host system in Lake Malé Morské Oko, Carpathians

This repository contains raw parasitological, host morphometric, and multi-scale hydroclimatic monitoring data supporting research on the long-term ecological dynamics and transmission decoupling of the acanthocephalan parasite Pomphorhynchus tereticollis and its consecutive hosts (Gammarus tatrensis and Phoxinus phoxinus) in the pristine, closed-basin mountain lake Malé Morské Oko (Carpathian Mountains, Slovakia). The dataset covers two discrete sampling epochs (1999–2001 and 2022–2026).
