Epigenetic analysis of sperm DNA methylation from a randomized placebo controled study of zinc and folic acid suplementation

Sperm DNA methylation was assessed in pateints who were randomly assigned to a folic acid suplementation group or a palcebo group. Basic differential methylation analysis was performed to identify sites of differential methylation. Bisulfite converted sperm DNA was hybridized to Illumina's EPIC array to determine the impact of 5 mg of folic acid and 30 mg of elemental zinc suplementation daily for six months
