Diversity of options to reach carbon-neutrality across the entire European energy system

<strong>Euro-Calliope v2.0 model outputs</strong> The subdirectories found here cover cost-optimal and cost relaxation (SPORES) carbon-neutrality runs for a sector-coupled, sub-national resolution European energy system model. The underlying model to produce these results, Euro-Calliope v2.0, is an extension of the power-sector only Euro-Calliope model. It incorporates all energy consuming sectors and includes a more detailed representation of transmission capacities between 98 model regions in Europe. The model runs here are based on specific Euro-Calliope v2.0 minor releases: cost-opt slack-* The models were optimised using the Calliope open energy system modelling framework, again based on different minor releases: cost-opt slack-* <code>slack-*</code> results are for cost relaxation runs, where <code>*</code> refers to the percentage relaxation from the optimal cost of the 2018 energy system. The data structure differs between the cost relaxation runs and the cost-optimal runs, with the cost-optimal run outputs following the structure produced by friendly-calliope and the relaxation run outputs being based on a custom collation of output data relevant to publication outputs (see script here). The overlapping files between all results are <code>flow_in_sum.csv</code>, <code>flow_out_sum.csv</code>, <code>flow_in_max.csv</code>, and <code>flow_out_max.csv</code>.
