This dataset compiles harmonized records from UNICEF’s Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS) for several countries, focusing on male household heads. It includes socio-demographic variables (PAIS, HHAGE, HHSEX), education level (Helevel), wealth measures (Wscore, windex5, windex10), and household characteristics (HH26C, HC7A, HC11–HC14). The key binary variable tratamiento identifies premature fathers (treatment group) versus non-premature fathers (control group). These variables serve as inputs for Propensity Score Matching (PSM) analysis, with Helevel, windex5, and PAIS as covariates, Wscore as the outcome, and tratamiento as the treatment indicator, enabling cross-country comparisons of economic impacts.
