U.S. opinions on stores being open on Black Friday during the pandemic 2020

In 2020, consumers in the United States were relatively divided on whether stores should remain open or closed on Black Friday as a result of the coronavirus pandemic: approximately a third of shoppers felt that they should be fully closed, while another third wanted shops to remain open with doorbusters. A slight majority believed it to be okay for stores to be open, as long as no doorbuster were employed.
