Investigating the epithelial barrier and immune signatures in the pathogenesis of equine IBH. Transcriptomic analysis of full skin and epidermis of horses affected by equine IBH and control horses

In order to investigate role of epithelial barrier and immune reaction in pathogenesis of equine insect bite hypersensitivity, we preformed following transcriptome analyses:a) Transcriptome of lesional and non-lesional skin of IBH-affected horses in comparison to full healthy skin of control horses was studied.b) Transcriptome of non-lesional epidermis derived from IBH-affected horses was studied in comparison with healthy epidermis from control horses.
