Association of poultry vaccination with the interspecies transmission and molecular evolution of H5 subtype avian influenza virus

Here we conduct phylogenetic analyses to investigate the inter-species transmission of H5 AIV between wild birds and poultry from 1996 to 2023, and compare the evolutionary dynamics of H5 AIV in different host populations that vary in vaccination status.
