DadaGP is a dedicated dataset for guitar-focused symbolic music generation, comprising 26,181 songs available in two formats: tokenized format and GuitarPro format. It utilizes grammatical structures tailored for plucked string instruments to represent musical notes. Additionally, this dataset supports a wide range of musical instruments and incorporates performance techniques as well as fingering information. Specialized encoding/decoding tools are provided to enable seamless conversion between the two formats. The core task supported by this dataset is symbolic music generation using guitar tablature.
