Cytolytic activity of the human papillomavirus type 16 E711-20 epitope-specific cytotoxic T lymphocyte is enhanced by heat shock protein 110 in HLA-A*0201 transgenic mice.

Significantly increased IFN-gamma production was observed in the supernatants of cultured splenocytes from mice vaccinated with the epitope complex mHSP110-E711-20 compared to the supernatants of cells from mice vaccinated with all other immunogens. However, the epitope complex mHSP70-E711-20 and the CFA-emulsified epitope stimulated much higher IFN-gamma production than the epitope alone. ELISA gave comparable results.
