Poa annua is an allotetraploid grass derived from an interspecific cross between diploid grasses, Poa infirma and Poa supina. This BioProject contains the raw sequences associated with the manuscript, titled "Homoeologous evolution of the allotetraploid genome of Poa annua L.". This includes (1) Genomic sequences (PacBio HiFi & Omni-C proximity ligation) used to build the reference genomes for diploid grasses, Poa infirma and Poa supina. (2) Full-length transcript sequencing used to generate high-quality gene annotations (PacBio IsoSeq) for diploids, Poa infirma and Poa supina. (3) Illumina re-sequencing of 15 tetraploid Poa annua genotypes, and (4) RNA-sequences for differential expression analysis from 30 Poa annua plants.
