NRS-20823 | Register of pre-emptive, defined pre-emptive, undefined pre-emptive and Auction Leases [Narrabri Lands Office]

This register contains a record of all the Pre-emptive Leases and Auction Leases in the Land District of Narrabri, kept by the Narrabri Lands Office.This register records information such as name and address of leasee, number of lease, date of notification in the NSW Government Gazette, county and parish, the area, the annual rent, the amount of rent paid, and the period for which the rent is paid, the date of payment, and the folio number of the lease application register, as well as any other remarks.These registers are divided into sections for pre-emptive leases, defined pre-emptive leases, undefined pre-emptive leases and auction leases. The pre-emptive leases cover numbers 1876/1 - 1882/184 for the period 28/01/1876 - 30/06/1886. The defined pre-emptive leases cover numbers 1868/1 – 1880/1 for the period 6/08/1868 - 16/06/1884.  The undefined pre-emptive leases cover numbers 1868/1 - 1878/5  for the period 6/07/1868 - 16/06/1884. The auction leases cover numbers 1883/766 - 1884/38 fo the period 3/10/1883 - 5/03/1884.
