We surveyed the soil fungal composition and diversity in Miscanthus fields and their paired abandoned agricultural lands, using the high-throughput sequencing technique.The goals of this study were to test these hypotheses: (1) Soil physicochemical properties in abandoned agricultural lands would be changed by the Miscanthus, and these changes would affect the soil fungi; (2) growing Miscanthus on abandoned agricultural land affected soil fungal composition and diversity.
