资源简介:
The purpose of these data is to determine if the impact bradyzoites have on the host transcripton is dependent on the export of parasite effector proteins via Myr1. We found that the expression of 3,068 host genes (~42%) were dependent on Myr1. A further 4,312 were altered in the same direction when comparing both the wild type and knock-out infected samples to the uninfected group. We can therefore conclude that Myr1 has an impact on the host transcriptional response to bradyzoite infection. Five groups of human foreskin fibroblasts are compared which are either uninfected or infected with the bradyzoite stage of the Toxoplasma gondii parasite. These data consist of 15 samples, all taken from a single donor, with 3 samples per group. All samples have been incubated for 1 week in iM: RPMI-HEPES supplemented with 5% v/v fetal calf serum at pH 8.1-8.2. The samples are either uninfected host, wild-type (WT) bradyzoite infected, Myr1 knock-out (KO) bradyzoite infected, bystander WT bradyzoite, or bystander Myr1 KO bradyzoite. A bystander sample is a sample generated from cells that have been in the presence of the bradyzoite form of Toxoplasma but are not infected by it.
