Basic Spatial Units (BSU) at 100 m resolution for national ecosystem accounts

This data collection defines the BSUs for the National Ecosystem Accounts, experimental estimates, 2022–23 financial year (released in April 2026), at a resolution of 100 m in GDA2020 / Australian Albers (EPSG:9473) projection, and includes the coverage fraction of each pixel of the Ecosystem Accounting Area (EAA). For the national ecosystem accounts, the base grid has been revised from 250 m to 100 m, with the Vegetation Information System (NVIS) version 7.0 data (NVIS, 2017) defining both the spatial resolution and grid origin.
