Antibiotic resistance is an important problem that threatens medical treatment. Differences in the resistance levels of microorganisms cause great difficulties in understanding the mechanisms of antibiotic resistance. Therefore, the molecular reasons for the differences in antibiotic resistance need to be elucidated. In our study, E.coli W3110 strain was made resistant to ampicillin by adaptive laboratory experiments. Genomic changes in non-resistant (E.coli W3110), 10-fold resistant (E.coli W3110-10) and 95-fold resistant (E.coli W3110-95) strains selected from this adaptation process were determined.
