The Antrim Cross

The Antrim Cross is a bronze cross with five equal arms from the [early 9th century](http://n2t.net/ark:/99152/p08m57h8zmq). The cross has five pyramidal bosses each in the form of a truncated pyramid. The side of the pyramids are decorated with interlocking angular fields of yellow enamel, alternating with a similar-coloured design of an arrow within a truncated triangle. The taller central boss and has an animal design. The flat tops are decorated with small squares of [millefiori](http://www.getty.edu/vow/AATFullDisplay?find=millefiori&logic=AND&note=&english=N&prev_page=1&subjectid=300207352) enamel.
