The Raman spectroscopy on carbonaceous material (RSCM) geothermometer, was used to extract geothermometric data from the phyllites in the Lesser Himalayan Sequence in the eastern Bhutan. To determine the temperatures, interpreted as peak metamorphic temperatures, we used the calibration by Beyssac et al. (2002).
