资源简介:
* This dataset is associated with the article "A Psychophysical Dataset for Vibrotactile Augmented Perception" by Mostafa Hamidifard, Hosein Pirmohammadi, Samar Nikfarjad, Rezvan Nasiri, and Majid Nili Ahmadabadi recorded at Research Institute for Robotic, Artificial Intelligence, and Information Science (RAIIS), Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, University of Tehran. Detailed information about the experiment and dataset can be found in the associated article. Dataset OverviewThe dataset consists of tabular structured files in CSV format. Within the Minimum vibration calibration directory, subjects' recorded values from the minimum vibration phase are stored, separated into two files corresponding to the two sessions. The Questionnaire directory contains information about each question, possible answers, and questionnaire results. Data collected during the main experiment phase from each participant in the first and second sessions is stored in the Experiment data file. Finally, the Participant info file contains all educational, experimantal, physical indicators, and Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) results of participants. Minimum Vibration CalibrationThe Minimum vibration calibration directory contains subjects' recorded values from the minimum vibration phase. The directory includes two files (named Session 1 and Session 2), each containing: Subject ID {1, 2, ... , 40}calibration_1_1, calibration_1_2, calibration_1_3, ... , calibration_5_3 {0, 1, ... , 255}vib_1_minvalue, vib_2_min_value, vib_3_min_value, vib_4_min_value, vib_5_min_value {0, 1, ... , 255}QuestionnaireThe Questionnaire directory includes two files. The Questions file contains number, text, and possible answers of each question. The Questionnaire data file contains questionnaire results for each participant at each session. For numerical questions(Q1 to Q6), the (,) format in this file shows data from the first and second sessions in the first and second positions, respectively. For yes/no questions(Q7 and Q8), only one answer is listed because it was the same in both sessions. For explanatory questions(Q9 to Q11), there is either only one answer or no answer, depending on whether the participant had a point or not. Participant InformationThe Participant info file (educational, experimantal, physical indicators, and Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) results) contains: Subject ID {1,2, ... , 40}Gender {F, M}Sessions gap [day]Weight [kg]Height [cm]Waist circumference [cm]Hand preference {L, R}Ticklishness {0, 1}History of abdominal surgery {0, 1}Body fat percentage [0 - 100]Subcutaneous fat percentage [0 - 100]Visceral fat indexMuscle mass percentage [0 - 100]Basal metabolic rate [cal]Bone mass [kg]Body water percentage [0 - 100]Metabolic age [year]Body protein percentage [0 - 100]Experiment DataThe Experiment data file (the results of the main experiment phase from each participant in each session) contains: Subject ID {1, 2, ... , 40}Session {0, 1}Trial {0, 1, ... , 254}Vib_1, ... , Vib_5 {0, low, medium, high}Raw magnitude [normalized to half-circle outer radius] , [0 - )Raw angle [degree] , ( - )Raw x [normalized to half-circle outer radius] , ( - )Raw y [normalized to half-circle outer radius] , ( - )Confidence [Very Low, Low, Medium, High, Very High]Decision time [second] , [0 - )Trial time [second] , [0 - )Corrected magnitude [normalized to half-circle outer radius] , [0 - 1]Corrected angle [degree] , [0 - 180]Corrected x [normalized to half-circle outer radius] , [(-1) - 1]Corrected y [normalized to half-circle outer radius] , [0 - 1]Data CorrectionNo data were removed from the dataset. Instead, Instead, corrected coordinate columns of the raw coordinate columns were added. The radius of the points which had a radius higher than the outer radius of half-circle, had been corrected to the outer radius of the half-circle. Also, the angle of the points which had an angle less(greater) than (0)180 degrees, had been corrected to 0(180) degrees. After this correction, all data points have a magnitude value between 0 and 1, an angle value between 0 and 180 degrees, a x value between -1 and 1, and a y value between 0 and 1. * Note: One participant gave two experiments in one day. This is indicated by "0" in the Session gap column. CodesThe source code for the Arduino hardware and the custom GUI used to collect data from experiment participants is available in this zip file. The usage_example directory within the zip file also provides a concise tutorial demonstrating how to access the dataset files and run a sample statistical test, together with detailed explanations to help users become familiar with the dataset workflow. In addition, all scripts used to generate the figures included in the Technical Validation section are provided.
