Utah Senate Districts 2012 to 2022

The Utah State Senate is comprised of 29 men and women elected to four-year terms. This dataset shows the senate districts that elected officials represent.
Statewide Political District Boundaries are drawn by the Utah Legislature and adopted into state law.
This layer represents the Utah State Senate Districts as per Census Block Assignment file enrolled with SB3001S03 (MD5 Security ID Code: b65820501630ccd944849f9c96d35b2a) and November 2011 adjustments to remove residential splits and to a more accurate representation of Utah's county boundaries (SB 3005).
Important Note: This data set has been updated to reflect the boundary adjustments made in SB125 in the 2012 General Session to make technical fixes submitted by the County Clerks to improve the implementation of these districts within the County-level reprecincting effort. Adjustments have also been made to accurately represent municipal boundaries.
