ASL-Homework-RGBD Dataset

ASL-Homework-RGBD dataset was created by institutions including Rochester Institute of Technology, containing video data from 45 fluent and non-fluent American Sign Language (ASL) users. Collected via a Kinect v2 sensor, this dataset aims to support the development and evaluation of computer vision algorithms for automatically detecting fluency-related attributes of American Sign Language. The dataset comprises 935 videos covering a variety of grammatical features and non-manual marker annotations. This dataset not only supports the design of sign language recognition technologies, but also holds significant value for researchers in the field of American Sign Language education, particularly for studies comparing fluent and non-fluent sign language use.
