Elk Home Range - Sherwood - 2022-2023 [ds3086]

Home range contours for tule elk (Cervus canadensis nannodes) developed by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) for the Sherwood herd of the Mendocino Elk Management Unit (EMU) in Mendocino County, California. The population-level home range was developed in Migration Mapper with Brownian bridge movement models using GPS locations from collared elk. High use (50 percent) and full home range use (99 percent) contours are presented.
