This dataset compiles experimentally derived unconfined compressive strength (UCS) and California Bearing Ratio (CBR) results for stabilised soils, with a particular focus on biopolymer-based and multi-additive stabilisation systems. The dataset is curated from 20 peer-reviewed studies and contains a total of 560 records, including 397 UCS observations and 163 CBR observations. Each record corresponds to a unique experimental condition defined by soil type, stabiliser composition, compaction characteristics, curing duration, and testing conditions. The dataset preserves both treated and untreated (or single-additive) cases within each study to enable consistent within-study comparisons. The data have been systematically extracted from published tables, text, and supplementary materials. Where necessary, values were digitised from figures, and such cases are transparently documented. All variables have been harmonised to consistent units and formats across studies, while original terminologies have been retained through controlled vocabularies. The dataset is structured into multiple machine-readable tables, including: UCS_clean: cleaned UCS records CBR_clean: cleaned CBR records StudyInventory: study-level metadata DataDictionary: variable definitions and units VocabularyMap: standardised naming conventions QC_Log: quality control actions and flags Quality control procedures include range checks, plausibility assessment, internal consistency verification, and detection of transcription or formatting errors. All edits, flags, and inferred values are explicitly recorded to ensure transparency and traceability. The dataset supports a wide range of applications, including comparative analysis, benchmarking of stabilisation methods, meta-analysis, and data-driven modelling such as machine learning. Users are encouraged to subset the data based on outcome type, curing duration, soil classification, and stabiliser type to ensure meaningful interpretation. Each record is uniquely identified and linked to its source through study identifiers and source DOIs, ensuring full traceability to the original publications.
