资源简介:

Symmetry breaking is one of the core concepts in modern physics. It is used to explain why the observed world is asymmetric, while physics claims that the underlying laws are symmetric. This paper points out that symmetry breaking is not a mechanism derived from observation, but a patch designed to prevent asymmetric reality from overturning the symmetry assumption. This patch has four logical vulnerabilities: it is unfalsifiable, it mistakes naming for explanation, it relies on a reference state that has never been observed, and it defers the problem to an untestable level. This paper does not claim that the universe should be symmetric or asymmetric; it only claims that symmetry breaking, as a logical operation, does not pass the test that it itself demands.
