The data was collected to observe the current organisational and clinical routines of the Hajj health examination in Malaysia, with an emphasis on the delivery of care to pilgrims with asthma. Furthermore, to explore stakeholders' perspectives of barriers and facilitators to asthma care for Malaysian Hajj pilgrims, as well as to determine asthma control, the incidence of unscheduled care among Malaysian pilgrims attending the Hajj, and associations between them.
