The most X-ray luminous QSOs from the ROSAT Bright Survey

We propose XMM EPIC spectroscopy of the five most Xray luminous radioquietQSOs found in the ROSAT Bright Survey (RBS). The RBS contains the brightestXray sources in the sky. Hence, the sample marks the high end of the local ( z<0.5 ) QSO luminosity function. Selfconsistent disk reflection models predictstrong, neutral Fe lines emission in low Xray luminosity AGN, while high Xrayluminous QSOs are expected to show weaker, high ionization Fe lines. A furtherincrease in Xray luminosity elimates the Fe line emission (Xray Baldwineffect).
