MRO MARCI Mars Daily Global Maps V1

This archive is for Version 1 Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) Mars Color Imager (MARCI) Mars Daily Global Maps (MDGMs). They are generated following the method described in Wang and Richardson [2015]. Each MDGM is a global map (180W-180E, 90S-90N) on a 0.1 degree longitude by 0.1 degree latitude grid. It is composed using 13 consecutive sets of MRO MARCI global image swaths taken around 3PM local time during the time period of about one sol. MDGMs are stretched for easy identification of discrete dust storms and clouds above the background. This release contains the first four MARCI years of data which includes the \"P\", \"B\", \"G\" and \"D\" subphases. Version 2 MRO MARCI MDGMs are being released on ASTROPEDIA (astrogeology.usgs.gov) as they become available.
