Data files of Methodology to improve the accuracy of the ocean heat content.

A methodology is presented to improve the precision of the computation of the Ocean Heat Content (OHC) through integrals of fractional order in regions of high variability of the Sea Surface Salinity and the Sea Surface Temperature. The chosen study region is the mouth and plume of the Amazon River, a ocean transitional zone where those state-variable change all over the year and for different space scales. A study is made from a seasonal climatology using the Simple Ocean Data Assimilation (SODA) reanalysis as a reference. The OHC is adjusted from the numerical results of the Regional Ocean Modeling System (ROMS model), available through Amazon River plume Hydro-thermodynamic Dataset (ArpHD).
