We report substantial heterogeneity in transgene expression patterns when using different strategies to target noradrenergic neurons of the locus coeruleus (LC).
We provide confocal microscopy data of mouse LC sections from different strategies of transgene expression (Dbh-cre, Net-cre, Th-cre, and PRSx8), and epifluorescence microscopy data investigating the effects of serotype and injection volume on viral spread in the LC region.
