A large set of images of cats and dogs, with 23,410 training images each labeled as either a cat or a dog. This dataset is a subset of the Asirra dataset, initially created for CAPTCHA purposes. The images were annotated through crowdsourcing by users of Petfinder.com. The dataset is monolingual (English) and falls under the size category of 10K to 100K examples. It was used in a Kaggle competition to test whether computer vision algorithms could outperform the Asirra CAPTCHA in classification accuracy.
