The physical and chemical indexes of water samples, sediment and the composition of the eukaryotic microbial community in June and September were analyzed by using the same culture mode in the seawater and saline-alkali water culture ponds of the Yellow River Delta in China. The results showed that there was a big difference between the eukaryotes in seawater ponds and saline-alkali water ponds in water samples, but little difference in sediments. It was found that eukaryotes in ponds could indirectly or directly promote the nutritional quality of Scylla paramamosain. This study provides data support for the popularization of Scylla paramamosain in seawater ponds and saline-alkali water ponds in the coastal areas of northern China.
