We report a draft genome of one Wickerhamomyces anomalus LBCM1105, a yeast strain isolated from cachaça distillery fermentation vats, notable for its exceptional glycerol consumption ability. The sequencing coverage was 20.5x in-depth and aprox. 90% of extension and completeness. The genome harbors the sequences of all the known yeast proteins ensuring glycerol transport and metabolism.
