Data for: Differential responses of macroinvertebrate ionomes across experimental N:P gradients in detritus-based headwater streams

This study examined the effects of nutrient enrichment on macroinvertebrate ionomes. Ionomes and body size of 3 genera were measured before and after artificial nutrient enrichment of 5 study streams. This data set contains information on course benthic organic matter stoichiometry and macroinvertebrate body size and ionomic values (19 elements) for 5 streams during one year of reference collection and one year of experimental nutrient enrichment.
