Soil nematode sequencing across Europe. Integrating quantitative morphological and qualitative molecular methods to analyze soil nematode community responses to plant range expansion

In this study we investigate the community composition of soil nematodes across a transect from Greece to the Netherlands where we sampled rhizosphere soils of different range-expanding plant species and their native congeners in six different countries. Nematodes were first extracted from soils followed by DNA extraction and PCR amplification using general eukaryotic primers.
