RNA-seq reads from developing wings of the field cricket Teleogryllus oceanicus

RNA was extracted from developing wings from the penultimate instar of the field cricket Teleogryllus oceanicus, in which males on multiple Hawaiian islands have lost the ability to sing through changes in wing morphology associated with an X-linked mutation ('flatwing'). We sequenced males and females from two populations, derived from islands of kauai and Oahu, from lab populations which were purebreeding for normal-wing (Nw) and flatwing (Fw) mutations.
