Evaluating the impact of repeated fungicide applications on putting green rhizosphere bacterial communities

This study was developed to evaluate the impact fungicide and biofungicide applications to preventatively control Pythium root rot have on the rhizosphere bacterial communities of a creeping bentgrass putting green. Pythium root rot can rapidly devastate large areas of putting greens. There are limited effective chemistries to preventatively control this disease and there is a lack of information on how these products impact the rhizosphere bacterial communities.
