SPARC Outer-Falloff Reproducibility Package for "A Low-Freedom Predictor of Outer Rotation-Curve Falloff in SPARC Galaxies"

This archive contains the reproducibility package for the manuscript “A Low-Freedom Predictor of Outer Rotation-Curve Falloff in SPARC Galaxies.” The study uses public SPARC/VizieR source tables to audit a narrow empirical target: the outer-falloff slope b_out of galaxy rotation curves after each galaxy reaches its peak-support radius R_pk. The manuscript defines R_pk, fits the normalized outer branch in the coordinate x = r/R_pk, and compares low-degree-of-freedom structural predictors against NFW-like and Burkert-like halo-baseline outer slopes. The archive includes the public VizieR/SPARC source tables, standardized galaxy and radial tables, sample-construction outputs, the 91-galaxy outer-benchmark parent sample, the fiducial 75-galaxy paired-comparison sample, fiducial b_out target tables, halo-baseline parameter tables, structural predictor tables, leave-one-out prediction outputs, paired-comparison tables, robustness-survival tables over f_pk and x_out, fixed settings, Python package-environment information, a SHA256 file manifest, a validation report, and clean package-building and validation scripts. The validated archive reproduces the manuscript-facing sample hierarchy: 175 parent SPARC galaxies, 100 broad-clean galaxies, 93 shape-benchmark galaxies, 91 outer-benchmark parent galaxies, and 75 galaxies in the fiducial common all-model paired comparison. It also verifies the fiducial RMSE values and confirms 9/9 robustness survival for the structural model families. This package is a derived audit dataset and reproducibility archive. It is not a new observational data release and does not claim to replace full rotation-curve modeling. Its purpose is to make the paper’s fixed outer-falloff audit products inspectable, citable, and reproducible from the archived source tables, derived products, settings, manifest, and validation checks.
