Organization Name Matching

Interzoid's Organization Name Matching native application for Snowflake addresses the issues of data inconsistency, data variation, and data redundancy (entity resolution) in company, institution, and organization names within data tables. These issues can otherwise significantly hinder accurate data analysis, customer communication, data-driven processes, AI model effectiveness, and other data-centric activities.

By leveraging specialized algorithms, machine learning, extensive knowledge bases, and fine-tuned AI models, the native application generates a canonical key (a textual string) using Interzoid's Cloud-native Organization Name Matching API. This generated key helps identify and match "similar" organization name data values, whether within a single table or across multiple tables, using simple SQL statements on the Snowflake data platform. The functionality is made available as a "User-Defined Function" (UDF) and can be accessed as part of a SQL statement. Examples of similarity keys are provided below.

Steps to Install and set up the application in your Snowflake account as follows:

- Click 'Get' in the Marketplace to install the native application in your Snowflake account.
- Obtain an API key at www.interzoid.com
- Run the configuration script found in the README file in a Snowflake SQL Worksheet (be sure and replace the API key text with your API key). This will enable access to the Interzoid API and make your API key available for use as a Snowflake Secret, set for every query. You can of course customize this script to provide for use with your own existing tables.
