The dataset contains Total Organic Carbon (TOC) data in thin layers of Holocene seafloor sediments (coccolith oozes and sapropels) in the Eastern Black Sea (Georgian EEZ) collected from a gravity core from a seafloor depth of 1062 m during DOORS cruise-3 (MN256), June 2024. Sampling for TOC analysis was performed with visual control using a microscope to detail the unmixed thin layers of sediment.
