List of type-approvals granted (whole vehicle)

The Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) issues, among other things, type approvals for vehicles of category M1 (passenger cars) and N1 (trucks) in accordance with Directive 2007/46/EC and Regulation (EU) 2018/858, which entitle vehicle manufacturers to manufacture them in series. In the interests of transparency of public action, the KBA publishes a list of vehicle type-approvals granted by the KBA under the link below. In addition, the table informs which European Member State grants the corresponding emission type approval. This list is updated at regular intervals and starts with the cut-off date 01.01.2019.
