EWAS meta analysis results

These are the results for the EWAS meta-analysis for each of the continuous and threshold depression variables (EPDS and BDI-II scales). The methylation data, depression scores, and confounders were from 248 mother child pairs for the Drakenstein Child Health Study. For 145 participants, DNA methylation was measured with the Methylation EPIC BeadChips (EPIC). For 103 participants, DNA methylation was measured with the Illumina Infinium Human Methylation 450 BeadChips (450K). These results were obtained using the limma R package for a multivariable robust linear regression model with empirical Bayes. The confounders that were adjusted for include mother's smoking status, household income, sex of the child, gestational age at birth, first there cell type principal components, and first five genotype PCs for population stratification. The Bacon and Cate R packages were used to adjust for bias and unmeasured confounding. METAL was then used to run a fixed effect model with inverse variance weighting meta-analysis for the EPIC array and 450K array.<br>
