DN B cells in MS patients and healthy controls (HC). Homo sapiens

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an inflammatory disease of the CNS in which B cells play a major role. Age-associated IgD-CD27- (double negative, DN) B cells with pro-inflammatory characteristics are abnormally elevated in a proportion of MS patients. This study describes the origin and selection characteristics of DN B cells in MS patients and healthy controls (HC).
