This dataset contains 504 experimental observations used to develop and evaluate an explainable machine-learning framework for predicting antioxidant enzyme activity under chemical stress conditions in strawberry and blackberry tissues. The dataset includes fruit/tissue type, chemical treatment, treatment class, treatment concentration, replicate number, and measured antioxidant enzyme activity. The dataset is provided in machine-readable CSV and Excel formats, accompanied by a data dictionary and quality-control summary. It is intended to support independent inspection, reproducibility, methodological verification, and reuse of the reported machine-learning analyses.
